We provide respite care which gives caregivers a much-needed break.

Respite care provides relief for family members who are unable to provide health care for loved ones during times of stress, illness or other unexpected circumstances, such as changes due to the aging process, cognition impairment and chronic illness.

Respite care has been shown to have positive effects on the mental and physical health of caregivers. Respite care helps to reduce stress and physical exertion and it diminishes the risk of the caretaker becoming overwhelmed by circumstances that are beyond his or her control. By sharing the caretaker role, a more consistent level of elderly health care can be achieved right at home. Having respite care can help to put off the need to transfer the loved one to a permanent health care facility.
